Join the Goldfins Coaching Staff and Board of Directors for a fun night out at The Willows for swimmers and their families to dress up for a celebration of both the upcoming season and to reflect on the successes of the past season.
This year, we are incredibly proud to welcome Goldfins member and 2024 Canadian Olympian Blake Tierney as our Keynote Speaker.
Spaces are limited so register early to ensure your spot!
Dare to Care
The Goldfins will not tolerate disrespectful or bullying behavior of any kind. All athletes, parents, coaches and associated members are expected to display a positive attitude, respectful behavior and support to all members of this organization whether at practice or at an external sporting venue. To ensure that a culture of bullying does not exist, it is expected that all members read, understand and abide by The Bully Prevention Code of Conduct.
The Goldfins are proud to participate in Dare to Care September 18-21. Sessions are MANDATORY for coaches, competitive swimmers and all parents. Please register for the appropriate session for you and note the different locations for the different dates.

Ahead of National Coaches Day on October 6th, our Goldfins Competitive Coaches are hosting a FUNdraiser!
Swimmers can purchase tickets on Saturday, September 28th at Shaw Centre & the Awards Gala for an opportunity to:
- Pie a coach in the face
- Race a coach
- Be “Coach for a Day”
- Lunch with a coach
- Complimentary 1 on 1 coaching session
- And more!
Tickets will be sold 1 for $10 or 3 for $20. Winners will be drawn on October 6th.

Swim Season Means Bingo Season!
This year we are making changes to how you sign up for bingos. It will soon be done via the Goldfins website but for now, you can sign up via this link: BINGOS!
Please do not email to sign up. A wait list will be created once spaces are full. Please email bingo@goldfins.ca to be added to the waitlist.
Families wishing to buy out bingos for the season, please contact Kathy at administration@goldfins.ca.
BINGO INFORMATION
Early Shift: 4:50 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.
Late Shift: 9:00 p.m. - 1:30 a.m.
Bingo is located at City Centre Bingo
- Arrive on time for your shift
- Wear comfortable footwear, as you will be walking/standing for most of the session
- Bring a water bottle (to be left in the Charity Room)
- Please do not bring valuables to the bingo hall
- Cell phones are not permitted to be used while working the bingo

The cost of all cap orders will be applied to your swimmers account. Payment will be due on the 1st of the following month. Contact Tina if you have any questions at equipment@goldfins.ca.

Fundraising Credits
Members will receive 80% of earned credits on gift card purchases, with the remaining 20% going to the club!
For example, if you were to purchase a Little Caesars gift card for $25, the fundraising credit is 20% - or $5.00. Of that fundraising credit, your swimmer account would earn $4.00 (80%) and Goldfins would get $1.00 (20%).
